Nicole by OPI Sweet Dreams

I promised myself after Nicole by OPI's A Gold Winter's Night I would never by another NOPI polish ever again. I actually love their color selection and their polishes, but you all know why I said this.... I hate the bottles. I can never figure out the right angle to photograph these polishes holding the bottle where they look right. Oh well, I lied. When I saw the some of the glitters in the Selena Gomez collection I had to have some. This is one of them I picked up.

Sweet Dreams over L'Oreal Not a Cloud in Sight

Sweet Dreams is a mixture of aqua, lavender, and silver glitters in a clear base.

I love the combination of colors here, and that's why I picked it up. I think aqua and teal is one of my favorite color combinations too. It's really nice to see some mainstream brands coming out with fun glitters! I love my indies, but it's always nice to find some fun glitters in a store! I picked this one up at K-Mart. I know many people don't have K-Mart, but I also saw these at Ulta, and I think it's been spotted at other stores.  I believe I used 2 coats here, and the application was easy.

Happy Thursday!

  1. beautiful! Love the combination :)
I agree, I hate the bottles!

  2. I don't own any Nicole by OPI simply because of the bottle. If they would change the bottle, I would try some in a heartbeat. I wonder if they know how much people dislike them??? This is very pretty though!

  3. I completely agree about the bottle shape. I wish some sort of mutiny would break out over the bottle shape and they would have to change it, lol. I always say the same thing: I'm not buying anymore NOPIs. But this glitter... I needed it.

  4. Gorgeous combo!

  5. This combination is super pretty!! I've never gotten myself NOPI though.. but this glitter looks so nice I might have to get one soon!

  6. Steph, this is PERFECT together. Since you swatched that L'oreal, I've ogled it at every pharmacy I've gone to. Now I just have to have it!

  7. I like the way this looks, really pretty and festive. I need to experiment more with glitters. I have a few but only pull them out occasionally but I love to see the creative ways people use them. I also think Nicole's bottles are awkwardly shaped. Its annoying but their colors make up for it. I have a lot of Nicole's.. their collections are fun to me.
