That's a wrap on 2015!

I've said it in posts before, but 2015 was pretty much the death of mainstream and drugstore polish for me. I only had 3 drugstore polishes and 1 mainstream polish make this list this year. Indies in my mind have taken over the nail polish industry entirely from my perspective.

That being said, I really miss great mainstream and drugstore polishes very much. I'd love for there to be a resurgence because part of what I loved about this hobby was going out an shopping for nail polish. I'm not hopeful right now that will happen, but I'm wishing!

It's that time of year again! I always look forward to these posts. I have my Top 25 polishes of 2015 to share with you over the next few days. I've been building this list up since January, and this year has proven to be very different than the past. Indies really came into the forefront of my polish addiction this year as you'll see evidenced by this year's favorites. This list contains only polishes released in 2015. HPB Presents: A Holiday Manicure

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate out there! I hope you all are having a nice holiday. I have a holiday themed manicure for you today for our HPB monthly link-up post this month. One of my favorite polishes this holiday season has been Noodles Nail Polish Peppermint Twist, so I decided to do a mani based off of that polish.

Polishes Used: KBShimmer Chilly Pepper, Color Club Blue-Ming, China Glaze Break the Ice, and Noodles Nail Polish Peppermint Twist.

This is a pretty nontraditional color palette for me for the holidays. I love adding the mint in there with the Christmas red and white, it's a different fun twist. I love the contrast in colors with this mani and it stands out.
