I think Orlando is one of the last places to get new collections. At least around where I live I don't see new collections until 2-3 weeks after someone first posts them or in the case with the new Sally Xtreme Wears...2 months? I searched high and low for these and just found them 2 weeks ago. I first only found Purple Gala and didn't see Mystic Lilac. I first thought I wouldn't care for Mystic Lilac, but when I spotted at a different Walgreens I changed my mind.
The only downside to this polish is this doesn't look good on my skin tone. I'm exhibiting major lobster hands with this one. That being said, I don't really care. I love this shade!
What are some of your favorite polishes that don't work with your skin tone that you still love to wear?
I love this color, I passed on it though and got Concrete instead, which I am not regretting. 2months?! Yikes! I am still waiting for those sally hansen complete salon ones that have the wet clay color in it, have yet to spot those. boo.ReplyDelete
I would have to say yellows, they make me feel happy but do nothing for my skin! =)
Yeah, I agree with you don't know why Orlando is so behind! I still haven't found the new SH salons, or the Loreals.ReplyDelete
Mystic Lilac is gorgeous on you!!
I found the new SH's at a Walgreens on Monday. I snagged up 3 of them. Please don't ask me which Walgreens. I can visit up to 3 a day. =O I'm out driving around for my job. I think it was the one right next to the Rosen Center by the convention center, on International Drive.ReplyDelete
And, well, duh...Steph, I forgot to say anything about your swatch. Which, I say, is great. I didn't get this gorgeous look when I tried it. I got watery soup. >:(ReplyDelete
What an awesome and unique colour! I just wish Sally Hansen didn't test on animals then I would totally buy this! I love purple polishes and green is my favourite colour so this is just great. Thanks for the post!ReplyDelete

Reds, I dont know why but i really cannot rock reds :(
This one is pretty!ReplyDelete
For me, it'd be olive green. I love olive green, but it looks bad on me cuz of all the yellow and brown. But I don't care anymore. I'm gonna buy and wear all the olive green I want, and if it looks a hot mess, then oh well. *shrug*
This is the perfect shade for fall!ReplyDelete
AggiePigeon- I've been looking for those new compelte salons too. I doubt I'll see them until November :PReplyDelete
rmcandle- I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this about Orlando and new collections. I've been looking for the new Sally Salons and L'Oreals too with no luck!
Kimberly- Oh no, I'm sorry your bottle wasn't good.
Hebridean- I love the purple/green combo too.
Chaos- Woo hoo that's the way! Who carea as long as you love that's all that matters.
Steph- Oh no. I love reds! I'm glad you still wear them though.
Leslie- Yes it is! Thanks!
really nice color!ReplyDelete
the polishes that dont' work with my skin tone...gold one,for sure :-(
This looks really pretty! I love mint greens and pale blues (ChG For Audrey), even though most of the time they give me lobster hands.ReplyDelete
There was this crazy gray that came out with that Orly Enchanted Forest collection and it made my hands look dead. It was so weird, I liked it but it did NOT look good on me.ReplyDelete
I'm in Orlando too and have yet to find Mystic Lilac. Which Walgreen's did you find it at?ReplyDelete
One color that I thought I'd fall completely in love with after seeing tons of swatches of is Essie's Sew Psyched. I love it on everyone else, except for me. That color and Butter London's Yummy Mummy AND All Hail McQueen ~ guess I'll just have to love them from afar. :(
