Zoya Yasmeen

*Do you notice anything different? I am so excited one my long time friends made me this new blog header! I've already had a handful of people ask me how they can get one too. My friend will be starting up a graphic design website soon, and as soon as he makes it live I will share it with you all! Many thanks to my friend!

On to polish!

When I ask people what their must have Zoyas are a lot of people mention "Yasmeen". I saw Yasmeen for years, and I always bypassed it. I have so many purple shimmers, how is Yasmeen so special? I kept it on my wishlist anyways, but it wasn't a top priority. When Zoya had one of their promotions a few months ago I decided to pick it up. I was wrong, this polish is very special!

Yasmeen

Yasmeen  is a dark blue-toned purple base with a strong red-toned medium purple shimmer and hints of gold duochrome.

I used Zoya's description for this one because I'm know it would be so much better than my own. This color is so multidimensional. It has so much depth to it, and it really comes alive on your nails. I was deceived by the bottle. In the bottle it looks like a standard purple shimmer, but it's so much more than that. It's gorgeous. The polish color makes me think of purple satin or silk the way the color shifts by how the light touches it. I can see why it's a favorite by so many people!

Happy Monday!

  30. OK - you convinced me - this is going on my Zoya order now...I even bought a spoon of this in the past and never ordered it - like you I could not figure out what the deal was...why did so many bloggers say this was such a hot purple? This could be my go to shade for this fall!
