Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Golden Tourmaline

One of the collections I miss most is Sally Hansen Nail Prisms. Thankfully, I have been able to find a few here and there at Dollar Tree and Ross. They haven't completely disappeared from the planet. You can also find them online, for very reasonable prices. This is one of my favorites.

Golden Tourmaline

Golden Tourmaline is bright red scattered holo.

This is gorgeous! There is a lack of good red holos out there, and this one is great. I know there are some great unique holos out there these day that come from foreign brands. I have many on my wishlist, but they're pricey. I think some of the Sally Hansen Nail Prisms especially the warmer tones will satisfy the holo needs you have if you're not willing to pay the higher price for the others.

Happy Tuesday!

  7. This is am amazingly pretty shade Steph! I missed it too. I think I will look on line. Our exposure to SH product lines is hit/miss in the semi rural area I live in that is hundreds of miles away from any larger town.

  9. Any recommendations for other 'warmer' shades that were ones that came out well in this line? Curious what the issues were with the cool shades? I sure recall the 'Rainbow In every Bottle' sticker so we did have these in my area at one point - but I just passed them by. I did not pay attention to SH until started reading blogs and heard so many good things on the formula of the Complete Salon Formula - almost as much as an $8 bottle of Essie or OPI in many cases for that line - but when I tried my first bottle, I was blown away. SH had come a long way. I used to think of it as a cheap nothing much drugstore line that was along the line of W&W - not worth the $ spent on it due to chipping. I have been really impressed with not only SH but this past year Revlon has stepped up to the plate as well too in a # of collections. Love to hear shade recommendations from you on this SH Prisms line vs. me taking pot luck.

  10. ♥ this one! Are some of the Nail Prisms just duochrome and not holo? I have Blue Lapis and I've never understood why it's different from the others..

  11. This is one of the colours I got in my Christmas haul, I really love it. Nail Prisms is the line that I was obsessed with when it first came out, and it recently reignited my polish obsession. (Totally how I found this blog too)
The good thing about the holos in SH Nail Prisms is they are all relatively cheap, even if you buy online, excluding the shade 01 Diamond.

  12. Most of the Nail Prisms are duo or multichromes, I think are 7 or so holos in there with the line spanning from 1 through 43.

  16. Lucky you! I've been stalking the dollar stores around here in the hopes of finding the Sally Hansen prisms, and pretty much all I've found are LA Colors (which is at every dollar store I've been to... I think it's specifically marketed to them), and ancient Loreal pairs in really dated looking bottles & colors.
