China Glaze BFF

The mistake I made 3 years ago when I got into nail polish was not to buy every single polish from the China Glaze OMG and Kaleidoscope collections. They were all at my finger tips on e-tailers then. I even remember thinking in my head if I should get them all, but no I didn't. I do have a few shades which is more than some. I shouldn't complain, but it's hard to let go that I had the opportunity to get them all and passed it by! Here is BFF from the OMG collection. I heard there are 2 versions of BFF. I'm not sure which one I have.

BFF

BFF is a medium pink purple linear holo.

-Sigh- They do not make them like this anymore. I do not know if we will ever see any holos like this in any non-US brand again? I had hope when China Glaze Tronica collection was released,  but those ended up being the most sorry excuse for holographic polish ever. The existence of Tronica continues to grate my nerves. I do not want to be a Debbie Downer, but do not expect this China Glaze Prismatic collection consist of any linear holo. Do not get your hopes up. I think the best bet for holos of this caliber these days are going to be from Glitter Gal or HITS on Llarowe.

-Sheds a tear-

Happy Tuesday!

  6. Hah we've all made that mistake!  The good thing is that now that we see an awesome collection we know that we have to buy it now. :)

  7. Layla (Italian brand also sold in the US) recently launched their holo line and they look great. And the new A-England, too! But both are incredibly expensive compared to China Glaze. Maybe not so much compared to Glitter Gal though.

  8. Completely agree with you. To be honest, when they were first released, I had just started obsessing over nail polish so I didn't give them a second glance. Now I wish I had bought at least some!  Glitter Gal and Hits are pretty good too but no where near as cheap as CG :(

  10. the most sorry excuse for holographic polish was a limited edition from Essence; Meet Me @ Holographics. Nothing holo at all, just some shimmery weird polishes.
I got TMI today, but it's not really that holographic. But whatever, I have it xD

  11. This looks gorgeous!! Since I missed out, I'm going to wish that Prismatic gives me a little bit of holo goodness.  Maybe if I wish hard enough it'll happen :-/

  12. You have me beat...I don't own any lol. I got into the nail art game 2 years ago so I totally missed the boat on these. I have a few other brands so I'm not going to complain too loudly lol.
