Weekly Wax Wrap Up: 11/15/15-11/22/15

I have had some iffy wax weeks lately, so this week I did stick to some familiar favorites. I already reviewed those on here, but I did throw some newbies into the mix. I'd say for the most part I had positive results with the exception of one.
Yankee Candle Soft Blanket
Scent Description: a lullaby of clean citrus, luxurious vanilla and warm amber
My Thoughts: This is  a definite clean laundry scent, but whoa this baby is strong. I used this in my bedroom which is a smaller space and it was so overpowering it gave me a headache. I do like the scent itself, but I should of only used half the tart or used this in a much larger space. I have one of the tarts sitting next to me it's packaging as I'm writing this and it's strong unmelted and in plastic wrap! I should of realized that before I melted it!

Ten Digit Creations Peach Bellini
Scent Description: a bubbly champagne with white peaches and oranges
My Thoughts: I was skeptical on this one. I received this one as free sample with an order. Peach scents can either be too strong or artificial for my taste and this was neither. I loved Peach Bellini! This had a very natural fresh peach scent, mixed with citrus and some bubbly notes. You know me, I love bubbly scents. This wasn't sugary or sickly sweet like many scents like this can get. This was very fresh and crisp.

Ten Digit Creations Lavender Sage
Scent Description: fresh lavender complimented by herbal sage
My Thoughts: I love herbal/soothing/spa scents and this exactly that. This is straight up lavender and sage, no other notes or frills. I melted this in my bedroom and it was perfect. This is an excellent soothing and stress relieving scent. It's very herbal and natural smelling. It has a nice throw that wasn't overpowering. This is a winner for me.

Better Homes and Gardens Simmering Apple Cider
Scent Description: N/A
My Thoughts: You know Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider you used to drink as a kid on New Year's Eve (I still drink it then!)? This is exactly what Simmering Apple Cider smells like, it should be renamed Sparkling Apple Cider. This has those bubbly and fizzy notes that I love paired with that cozy apple cider scent. This one isn't sugary or too sweet at all. It has that fresh and natural apple scent. This is the perfect festive, cozy, and crisp scent rolled into one. This one would be great for Thanksgiving and Christmas time.

Happy Sunday!
