Silly Bee's Chickadees "The Gift of Melly"- Steph's Silver White Winters + Giveaway!

*I received the following product in exchange for my honest review
*Sponsored giveaway

I'm very excited for this post. Last year, you might remember I was part of Silly Bee's Chickadee's The Gift of Melly for the holiday season. I was invited back to partake again this year with a handful of other great bloggers. Just like last year, proceeds ($2 from every bottle sold) will be donated to a charity of each blogger's choice.

My polish inspiration this year comes from one of my all time favorite movies, The Sound of Music. This is not what many consider a holiday movie, but when I was younger I always watched this movie around holiday time. I can always count on the songs from The Sound of Music to lift my spirits, especially "My Favorite Things". This is where my polish idea comes from...

"Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things"

I wanted to create a wintery glitter mix that fits for the holidays and winter. Melissa of Silly Bee's Chickadees did an excellent job!

My charity of choice this year is the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. If you follow me on Instagram you may notice my kitty posts on Wednesdays and Fridays. I spend my Wednesday and Friday mornings at the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando as a Kitty Cuddler and Kennel Coach. My responsibilities are to socialize animals, help potential adopters, and enrich shelter cats lives with treats and activities. The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando is an immense and meaningful part of my life. The staff and other volunteers all have tremendous hearts when dealing with animals and the community. If you purchase a bottle of Steph's Silver White Winters, $2 will be donated to the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando!
Are you ready for swatches?

Steph's Silver White Winters over white

Steph's Silver White Winters over light blue

Steph's Silver White Winters over navy
Steph's Silver White Winters is a mix of silver holographic glitters, satin aqua glitters, satin baby blue glitters, and micro iridescent glitter in a clear base.

I used one thick coat over a base on all of these. I recommend dabbing this polish on the nail for coverage in one coat.

The price for a full sized bottle is $10 and it is available for purchase today! To purchase click here.

The Gift of Melly isn't just me though! There are 6 other beautiful polishes in this collection! $2 from each of these will be donated to the charities listed below.

Jacki's Who-ville Christmas (Adventures In Acetone for Polished Girlz)
Emily's Dreaming of a White Christmas (The Lacquerologist for Second Chance for Animals)
Ida's Electric Snow (Ida Nails It for Hospice Austin)
Mishka's Rare Exports (Accio Lacquer for the Cancer Research Institute)
Sydney's Hot Chocolate (Polish Monster for Toys for Tots)
Diana's Merry Little Christmas (Polish Monster for the Alzheimer's Association)

Happy Monday!

  1. I have so many favorites, but White Christmas will always remind me of my mother & grandnmother and i make sure to watch it every year :)

  2. Elf! Or Jingle All The Way! Or While You Were Sleeping, which isn't really a Christmas movie but I always watch it at this time of the year!

  3. What a great glitter this is! Wish I could enter this awesome giveaway for it but best of luck to everyone else who can.

  4. My favorite is those Rankin Bass stop motion shows from the sixties and seventies. I have to say my favorite one of all is Rudolph the red nosed reindeer with the voice of Burl Ives as the snowman/narrator.

  5. So so pretty! This looks great over all of the shades you layered it with! And such a great cause <3

  6. Thank you so much <3!

  7. "It's a Wonderful Life" is my all-time fave Christmas movie!

  8. A Year Without A Santa Claus ! This year I have another favorite; A Cookie Cutter Christmas! Thanks for the chance!

  9. It's A Wonderful Life is a great classic. This polish is really lovely on the blues!

  10. This glitter is absolutely beautiful, as are all of the other polishes! I love how they are all for such great causes :) My favorite holiday/Christmas movie, hands down, would have to be Elf!
