We are that stage of summer where I'm over it, but we still have over a month of summer to go. This is the time of year where I like to start transition from my spring/summer polishes to my fall/winter ones. I don't always coordinate my nail polish seasonally, but I would say I do 80% of the time. The colors I usually reach for this time of year are colors that can read any season. I don't want to go straight into fall, but want to ease into it. I like to stick to medium shades, neutrals, or really any color I see could fit any time of year. This is what I like about OPI Vant to Bite My Neck?
Vant to Bite My Neck?
Vant to Bite My Neck? is a deep eggplant creme.
Color: This is from the OPI Euro Centrale spring collection, but it's also a deep color. This color isn't bright, but it's not murky either. This is such a rich, saturated, and deep color that it reads almost as a neutral to me. I feel I could wear this on a hot day at the beach or in the dead of winter and it would still be appropriate. Great color.
Formula: The formula on this was good. I had formula issues with many of the lighter shades in this collection, but this one was nice.
Price: I paid $9.00 for this at Ulta.
Overall: Love this color! It's rich and versatile. The formula is nice and I don't really have any complaints. The new $9.00 OPI price isn't my fave, but I'm starting to get used to the higher cost of polish.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Paint Splatters
Happy Thursday!
Oh wow I love this purple! I have 4 colors from the euro collection, but not this one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful dark purple! )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color and even though I don't usually like purple. In Finland OPI costs about 17 euros a bottle! That's why I always order my bottles from eBay.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a fan of purples, but I have to say I love this color - it is so pretty! I do gravitate towards lilacs and lavenders but out of all the colors, purple is my least favorite polish shade.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous purple!
ReplyDeleteI think this one stands out more on the nail than in the bottle.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteWow that's a crazy! I've been using eBay a lot to buy OPI and China Glaze lately myself.
ReplyDeleteAwww, purple is one of my favorite colors. I'm glad you love this color though!
ReplyDeleteI need this color! Woah, it is STUNNING.
