Zoya Dillon

Once the seasons change I try to stick to seasonal colors I review on the blog. It's not because I feel like I have to to do this, it's just out of habit. I tend to change my color palette as the seasons change, so naturally my blog does too.

That being said, there are some swatches left in my library, that are from seasons past. In an effort for them not to get bypassed entirely, I'll let them sneak in the wrong season. I have a Zoya from the past spring collection to share with you today.

Dillon
Dillon is a soft mint metallic shimmer.

Color: I love this soft mint shade, and I really like how it's done in a shimmer rather than a creme. Mint cremes are everywhere. This is a little deeper of a mint shade than many I see out there, and I like that.

Formula: This was a 3 coat formula for me. It wasn't the greatest formula it was a bit sheer on the first 2 coats, but a far cry from bad. I'd call the formula average. I'd also pin this between a shimmer and frost. It's not as heavy handed as a frost, but packs a bigger punch than a shimmer.

Price: This is $9 on the Zoya website.

Overall: I like Dillon. The color is nice, and I love how Zoya isn't a afraid to play with finishes. I find Zoya is the only one really putting out shimmery polishes lately. I miss them! This isn't a polish I'm head over heels for, but it's very nice.

My Rating: 4 out of 5 Paint Splatters
Happy Friday!
