Sinful Colors Rain Storm

I'm done! Goodbye summer brights and neons! In my world summer is officially over, and I'm tired of wearing summer colors. I just want to get cozy with my deep, muted, and vampy shades. I missed them. I'm odd and tend to not like to wear fall-winter shades in spring-summer and vice versa. I don't know. I like to match the season (says the person who is declaring summer over early and who lives in Florida which the seasons of hot and hotter). Anyways, my nutty contradictions aside, I am really for fall colors. I kicked of my fall with Sinful Colors Rain Storm. I think it's a good transition color not too dark..not to light..but just right!

Rain Storm

Rain Storm is muted dusty blue creme.

I am in love with this color. It's exactly what I wanted right now, and I don't have any other blues like it, at least in my collection. The formula on this was excellent. You could get away with one coat if you wanted. It was smooth and applied evenly. I'm very impressed with this formula on a $2 polish. I approve!

Happy Tuesday!

This is lovely on you- and come to think of it, it's pretty unique, too. At least I don't think I have anything just like this in my collection. Maybe it'll be coming home with me on my next trip to the drugstore! ;)

  5. With ya on suddenly I am also tried of my neons. However hard for me to move into fall shades (esp the darker ones). End Aug and all of Sept brings the hottest of all weather we get where I live. My house has no AC because this area does not need it but for in the grocery store. All markets seem to always have AC even if it's not needed! I took my neon toes off last night. Left them to breath and for the first time in months did not have a polish shade all lined up in my mind to put on in it's place. Your showing a nice med. blue gives me some food for thought. I just cannot grab for the more vampy shades yet and a med gray is to cutting it either. Then along with shades in this hue comes reds in my mind. I love a good red and I cannot think of any season of the yr where red is not OK to wear. This next month is hard for me - no fall here - we go right from blazing hot to pouf it's winter get out the polar fleece!

  9. What a pretty blue! I'm actually wearing neon on my nails at the moment but I can't wait for fall polish colors and everything else about fall. It's my favorite season. I'm ready to get my Halloween stuff out already!
