If there is any type of polishes I still cannot control my impulses on it is flakie polishes. I have that same urge I had to buy them all like I did with all types of nail polish when I first got into blogging. I cannot turn down a flakie, so when I found Barielle had one out I had to get it.
Buddha-ful is a milky nude sheer with iridescent green/pink flakies.
This polish is awesome. This to me has the similar effect as Revlon Starry Pink. It's a subtle shade with a punch, but not so much it takes away the softness of the color. I sure hope that makes sense. What is great about this it's opaque in 3 coats. You don't have to layer this on until the end of time to get opacity. It looks great on its own, but you can layer it too if you'd like.
Here is it layered over China Glaze Sea Spray
Very pretty! I'd really only recommend layering this over lighter shades. The reason I say this because the base of Buddha-ful is a nude not clear, so if you layer it will alter the shade of the polish underneath. It will do the same for lighter shades as well, but it's not as noticeable.
If you like flakies I think this one should be on your list!
Oooh, I love it layered over China Glaze Sea Spray! I have Buddha-ful but haven't used it; now I will, layering it over Sea Spray! thanks for the inspiration!ReplyDelete
I had this in my "cart" when they had a sale recently and ended up getting side tracked and not ordering. I NEED this! I love that it is not clear!ReplyDelete
Oh that's just lovely!ReplyDelete
This is GORGEOUS. I love flakies. I love them more than holos. Sacrilege, I know!ReplyDelete
This is so pretty, Stephanie! I didn't think I wanted this one until I saw it on you!ReplyDelete
I liked this one so much I got 2 bottles and might get another next order. I have seen how Barielle just makes so much and then it's done...and have lost out on some I thought would be there a long, long time - not so.ReplyDelete
I just got this polish and it's sooooooo lovely, I can't wait to use it :DReplyDelete
I recently just received my order of this! I can't wait to actually use it...I think I want to layer it over a pretty coral or orange!ReplyDelete
Oh wow! That's really pretty! It combines two of my favorite polish types; nudes and flakies. :)ReplyDelete
Elle's Spell is a flakie too. Gold flakies in a deep red jelly. I think I feel a Barialle order coming on, I need a back up.ReplyDelete
You're welcome! It's definitely gorgeous over Sea Spray!ReplyDelete
Yes you do!ReplyDelete
Actually....I think I might too. I definitely wear flakies more than holos.ReplyDelete
Thank you. I'm glad you like it!ReplyDelete
Oh no... I didn't know that. I may need to get another bottle then!ReplyDelete
I hope you like it too!ReplyDelete
Ooooh, I bet that would be really pretty!ReplyDelete
I'm not really a nude fan, but I'll take a nude with flakies! Wow, I bet that sounds weird to non-polish people.ReplyDelete
Another one to add to my wishlist!ReplyDelete
