Reader Manis of the Week:

Name: Alexis
Manicure Description: Pastel Galaxy - A lavender-ish franken as the base and I sponged on LVX - Callais and Primrose, Julep - Robin, Wet n' Wild - French White Creme, a coral franken, and WingDustCollections - Jazzberry Pie. I tore up pieces (small and medium!) of a makeup sponge and using dipped them in colors (all except my base color and Jazzberry Pie) in whatever order I think looked best; added some in some spots and less in others. After that I used a tiny dotting tool to place 'stars' in just certain areas, I even used a striper dipped in white to make larger stars by creating and 'x'. After that I sponged on some Jazzberry Pie in certain areas for the sparkly holo bits. Finally I added two coats of top coat!
Favorite Polishes: Hmmm, this may be one of the hardest questions I've ever had to answer! I love holos, they're my weakness! I also love any polishes from WingDustCollections, Stephanie is such a talented polish maker!

Name: Sophia
Location: Columbus, OH (USA)
Manicure Descrption: Base: Palladio Green Tea Nail Fortifier, 1 Coat of Rimmel's Midnight Blue, then sponged on 2 un-named Funky Fingers Mini's, one in purple, the other a golden green, and sponged Sally Hansen's DVD over the entire nail. 1 Coat of Out the Door's Northern Lights Top Coat (Silver) and then Ulta's X-Dry Top Coat. It sounds like a lot, but it was actually quite easy and quick.
Favorite Polishes: Almost any Flakie polish, OPI's Russian Navy, and China Glaze For Audrey.

I need manis for next week and the rest of September You can find information on how to submit your manicures for Sunday posts here

  1. Cover Girl's finally doing polishes again, ehh? Funny, I just did a post on an old CG frosty and a couple of us were speculating on why they hadn't yet. Can't wait to see them!
