China Glaze Aquadelic

I HATE the new Blogger layout/look. I know it's been around for over year, but I've avoided it. I think soon they'll be transferring everyone over to it, so I decided I should get used to it. I resist change in regards to anything. I'm such a creature of habit!

Enough of my silly rambling. Today, I have for you one of the China Glaze Electro Pop colors. I was not overly thrilled with China Glaze's spring collection this year. It just didn't Pop for me...bad pun intended. I did, however, like this polish.

Aquadelic

Aquadelic is a bright aqua creme.

This is pretty straight forward, but it s a great color. If you're craving brights like me this season, you will be pleased with it. In case you're wondering how this compares to China Glaze For Audrey, Aquadelic is brighter and has more green to it than For Audrey. All around this is a great creme shade. I found the formula great on this one too.

Any other creatures of habit there...or are you able to go with the flow?

Happy Thursday!

  1. LOL you ARE a creature of habit, well of course I'm such a young girl compared with you, (coughing very loud), but I see why some of you older guys find it difficult hahahaha
    Nice swatch too ;)

  2. I have been putting off switching to the new Blogger interface, too--last time I tried it, it made my head hurt because I couldn't find a lot of things (like turning off word verification for comments, for one thing).  I am very much in the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" school.

  3. I'm a creature of habit but I actually like the new blogger layout, once I figured out where everything was. It is easier for me to sort drafts, posts, and I can easily create pages for my blog, which I could not figure out how to do before.

AND I love this color :-)

  4. #1: I've avoided the new blogger layout too, and I am usually open to change (like, I actually enjoy the new Facebook timeline).  I HUGELY DISLIKE the blogger one...sigh.

#2: China Glaze's Spring line was not 'poppin' for me either...this was the only color that I had a little bit of interest in...looks like I need it!

  5. I only started blogging a few months ago and yes...I already don't want to change to the new layout.... I get used to things very quickly.

I only got Electric Beat and Gothic Lolita, initially I really loved the collection but then I realized I didn't really need the colors. I did wonder if I should have gotten Aquadelic though.

  6. I should switch over and I probably will. Sometime. I tried the new interface then changed back. Why can't Blogger just leave what works alone and fix the things that are broken. (My being able to edit my frakking blogroll, for instance... grrr!!!)

Anywhoozle, I am wearing Aquadelic, right now. Great colour, but my bottle was gloppy as glue, streaky (tho it did self level, in time) and bubbled so badly that I had to do dotting tool nail art cover to keep it on my nails. I thinned it and am going to give it another try, soon. I hope that cured the problem because I am loving the colour. :)

  7. Ugh, I'm not a fan of the new layout either. Every time things like Twitter or Facebook change, I always grumble and this is no exception. Oh well. Anyways, I love this polish! I haven't picked any up from this collection yet but if I do, this one is definitely on my list.

  8. I LOVE Aquadelic!!!  I just wish that it was more Aqua instead of green.  It may only be me that it turns that color on, but from all the pictures I have seen it is a true Aqua; on me it pulls green.  I still LOVE it! Great Spring and Summer color!!!

  9. I hated the new Blogger layout for awhile, when I switched, but now it's like second nature and I don't mind it so much.

Aquadelic is so bright! Perfect for spring.

  10. Aquadelic looks really pretty on you. I skipped this polish, but you're making me think I should have picked it up. I bought OPI's Wooden Shoe Like To Know after seeing your swatches...Thanks for the enabling, lol.

  11. I think this polish looks great on you. I find that China glaze is slacking with their collections these days agree?

  12. I love this shade. I want to try it out :) So gorgeous!!

  13. I am sooooo a creature of habit!!  I didn't like the new layout either, but eventually got used to it.  Now they better not go changing it again after I've become comfortable again, lol.

  14. I passed on this one because I already have For Audrey as well as Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Mint Sprint. I have been craving Kinetic Candy from this collection, though!

  15. 'Pop' is the right name for this collection. That color just pops on your nails.

I can deal with the Blogger change way more than the Facebook one. Ack!

  16. I understand that. I think I'm just used to Facebook changing all the time so I stopped caring!

  17. They better not! I hate change. :(

  18. Glad you like it!

  19. Thank you! I agree, it's been like that for around 2 years now. I'm not finding any of their collections really grabbing me like they used to.

  20. Thank you! I'm sorry for enabling...:P

  21. Good, that sounds promising then! I already feel kind of used to it. It seems a bit more user friendly.

  22. I'm glad you like this color. I'm sorry it looks more green on you. :(

  23. It's funny because we eventually get used to it, and don't really remember how things were before. It still is annoying when it changes though.

  24. I'm forcing myself to use the new interface now. I might as well grin and bear it. I'm sorry you had a goopy bottle of Aquadelic. Typically, I find polishes like this harder to work with, but mabye I'm the one with the odd good bottle and they rest stink! :P

  25. I think the biggest problem with this collection is the colors are not exactly original, especially with them being cremes. It can be easy to find dupes or similar shades to the colors in this collection.

  26. This is a great color. I initially got 2 others, but I did away with them in a swap. They were too dupey for me.

  27. That's good to hear! I'm glad it is easier. I'll get used to it. I'm just stubborn!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I agree! I'm hearing that it's not all too bad though. I wanted nothing to do with it when it was optional, but now I feel like I must face the music!

  29. I definitely am...I hate change. :P

  30. These shades felt like they have been around a lot before. They were not tired looking because they popped right after we faded from holiday looks into total nudes it seemed. After I looked at these in swatches, I thought about my own collection and other than about 3,  I really did not have these shades in fresh now good formulas. But then I looked back at my older OPI's and pouf - there most of them were!
