Icing At Dusk

I started classes again today. I always feel ridiculously behind the first day of school. I swear you're handed all these syllabi and deadlines, and I automatically start stressing. It's crazy because it's the first day of school and we haven't even started doing anything yet! I've been cursed with the "overachiever" trait, and I don't consider it a good thing. I spend time worrying about getting things done, and once I actually do them it's not a big deal. Any one else like this? The reason I mention school, is because you may notice I won't be posting as reguarly as usual. I will try, but sometimes I get too overloaded!

Back to polish. I got this glitter at Icing. I like Icing polishes, but I'm not a fan of shopping at their stores. It's one of those stores where they hound you all the time, and immediately hand you a basket to shop. I always feel guilty if I don't buy something there. Lol, I'm terrible, just no thanks on the basket please. I'm a sucker, stop guilt tripping me!

At Dusk over Finger Paints Heavenly Hydrangeas

At Dusk is muted pink and silver small glitters in a clear base.

What I love about this glitter is it's not your typical layering glitter. It's not very blingy. It's very subdued and the color of the glitter is unique. I haven't really been into layering much lately, but I really see myself using this. It adds a nice sparkly touch, but a soft one, not loud boisterous one!

Happy Monday!

  3. Gr8 name for the base shade!!! Looks pretty with this topper.  Deep breath - you will be in the swing of a whole new routine of this class after this one, the route you take from one to the next - where and when to get a coffee...collect a few email addys from folks that are sitting around you in each class (or cells), and pouf...you will be off and running to what you know as the routine before long! Just the hoops they make us all have to jump through I used to tell myself when it was a class I did not like, but had to take. And one foot in front of next, each page turned - and eventually you are done. Or you are a forever student as I have been much of my life!!!  Good luck with the new quarter/semester.

  4. I've seen a lot of Icing polishes that I like on blogs, especially glitters. Sadly, we don't have any of their stores in my area.

  5. Don't worry I am sure will be doing fine this schoolyear! I have the same trait, and for yourself it feels not good, but in the end it is better than just waiting until is goes wrong at some point. wish you luck with everything this new year!

I follow your blog now for a pretty long time and maybe you followed mine on Melaniesnailpolish (The Color Palette), but I moved to a new blog that fits my ideas. Maybe you would like to take a look at www.thecolorpaletteblog.blogspot.comMaybe I see you there :)

  6. That's really pretty! I also like that it is sparkly but not so in-your-face. And I love it over this soft pink. Unfortunately (or possibly fortunately) I don't have an Icing store near me. Probably for the best. Lol. And as far as school goes, you'll be fine!   :)
