China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway

I have changed my layout again, but for a good reason. The other layout and the colors was making my eyes go cross. There was way too much contrast. That being said, if it was bothering me, I'm sure it was bothering you all as well. Please please please, don't hesitate to let me know if you have issues reading this blog. I promise I'm not trying to ruin your eyes on purpose. I tried to tone down the colors, lighten up the background, and darken the text. Is this better?

I have completely failed at 4th of July. I had absolutely no time to do a 4th of July manicure. I was busy doing blog sale stuff  on top of other responsibilities. I apologize America, please forgive me. I do have a 4th of July appropriate China Glaze blue for you though. I hope that's good enough. :P

Bermuda Breakaway
Bermuda Breakaway is a indigo creme.

Among all the other colors I love, I have to say up there in my favorites are deep blue and navy cremes. I have quite a few of these colors and I love them all!

I hope you all have a nice 4th of July, those of you who celebrate. 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays especially when I was a kid. I told this same story last year on this blog, but we had these family friends who threw a great 4th of July party. She had these massive bins of toys and party favors, and it was a complete free for all. These were not stinky toys either, this was the good stuff! She also had a great pool, and we got to light sparklers. Good memories :). I'm pretty sure that's the only reason I really loved July 4th so much.

Happy July 4th!

  2. This one is beautiful. The layout looks fine btw.
Do you have China Glaze First Mate? I wonder how these two compare.

  3. Aww! I think this is perfectly acceptable for a fourth of July mani! I love this color and I never get sick of blue cremes, so many pretty ones.

  6. I will definitely do a comparison post of these in the future. I can off hand tell you that First Mate is more of a "dustier" blue than Bermuda Breakaway. First Mate has some gray tones to it, while Bermuda is flat out blue. I hope that makes sense.

  10. This is a lovely shade of blue!  I love blues so much and this looks like a must have!  I  have to ask, how on earth do you take such great pictures of your nails! Every time I try it looks awful!

  11. Thank you, I think my pictures are miles behind some of the more popular bloggers on here :(. I do use the macro settings on my camera, and honestly I take multiple pictures, so I have a lot to choose from. If I've swatched 15 polishes for my blog, it's not unusual for me to end up with 100 photos, because I've taken so many to get just the "right" photo. I could probably save myself time with a better camera! I only have a $100 one I got 3 years ago.
