HARE Polish The Norwegians Are Leaving

I have a newer HARE Polish to share with you today. This one is from the recent winter Twin Peaks Part 2 collection. I wish I could comment on the TV show Twin Peaks, but I can't. I've never seen it, and have absolutely no idea what it is about. Is it good? Anyways, the color stood out to be as pretty awesome, so the television reference didn't matter!

The Norwegians Are Leaving
The Norwegians Are Leaving is a bright blue jelly base with gold flakies and iridescent gold glitter.

Collection: Twin Peaks Part 2 Winter 2014

Color: If you're been following my blog for a long time you know my obsession with a nail polish like this. I submitted a similar polish idea to RBL in 2011 inspired by the Roman Pool at Hearst Castle. Obviously this wasn't HARE Polish's inspiration, but her creation definitely fits the bill of what I love! I love the bright blue jelly in contrast with the golden iridescent glitter. It's a beautiful and very luxurious color combo!

Formula: Excellent 2 coat formula. This applied evenly and smoothly.

Price: I purchased this for $10 on HARE Polish's etsy page. This is currently out of stock, but keep up with HARE Polish on Facebook for updates!

Overall: Beautifully stunning color! I'm going to be a bit partial to it clearly, but honestly this is an excellent polish all around. The color is lovely and the formula is definitely on point. I love this one!

My Rating: 5 out of 5 *Golden* Paint Splatters
Happy Monday!

  3. Lovely blue <3 I like how subtle the glitters are - they are there, but not "in-your-face" there ;)

  6. Wow, I love that polish and I am really surprised that I remembered that quote so vividly. I can picture that scene in my head even after, what, 25 years or so?

Twin Peaks is very strange and not for everybody - I would say, watch the pilot and see what you think. Generally the pilot either has people totally obsessed or running for cover. I suspect that you would like it, though!
