Share With You Sunday: 3/15/15-3/22/15

Whew, the week before last, and early this past week were ROUGH for me. I'm sure you can tell because I only had one post this past week. Personal issues and sickness got in the way of me blogging, but I'm *hoping* that all of that is behind me and I can resume some normalcy in my life! I do have a few things to share with you from the week though!

Products I'm Loving:
Camille Beckman Midnight Monarch Glycerin Hand Therapy- In my 5 years of blogging I've tried countless hand creams. I have my favorites, and this is one of them. I actually got this as a sample in Birchbox last year, and fell in love. This hand cream is softens and moisturizes your hands without leaving your hands greasy. This keeps our hands feeling moisturized for a long period of time too, unlike other hand creams where my hands feel dry after 5-10 minutes.  I love how soft and supple my skin feels after I use it. The scent is a lovely perfume-y and rich amber and bergamot scent. It's a luxurious scent, but it has a light touch. This can be purchased from Birchbox for $13.95.

Nuance Rosehip Moisturizing Body Lotion: I am a big fan of Nuance products, and this body lotion is great. What I like about it so much is the texture. This is not a heavy or greasy at all. While this is creamy, it feels as if it has a more gel-like texture. It's lighter on the skin, but still provides the same benefit of body cream or heavier lotion. This melts into the skin quickly without a sticky or greasy feel. This also has aloe vera in it which I find very cooling. The lotion has a very nice luxurious rose scent, but like the hand cream I mentioned above, the scent has a light touch. The scent isn't overpowering or strong at all . You can purchase this body lotion at CVS for $7.95.

Nuance Marigold Cleansing Oil: I would say it's been about 6-8 months since I started using cleansing oil for the first time. I was first introduced to the Garnier version which I thought was great, until I tried the Nuance one and realized how it's a million times better! I love a cleansing oil because it's the only type of cleansing product I find removes ALL of my makeup, especially eye makeup. This does the job perfectly, and unlike the Garnier one it leaves my skin completely clean without a sticky film being left behind. I have combination-oily skin, and I do not find this to clog my pores or make my skin greasy. I find since using cleansing oil as my primary cleanser, my skin is much happier and less greasy! This can be purchased at CVS for $13.99.

New To Me Products:
Biore Pore Penetrating Charcoal Cleansing Bar: I mainly got this because I wanted to try it. I do have some larger pores on my nose and was curious. I'm not a fan of this. This has peppermint oil in which I found harsh on my skin.  I have sensitive skin, and I was also getting over a cold this week. My nose and upper lip were very sensitive due to blowing my nose every 5 minutes, and this BURNED like fire on any raw or sore spot on my skin. On top of that it was very drying. I don't really see myself using this unless I have a bad breakout and could use a deeper clean. This is definitely not an everyday skin care product in my opinion.  I got this at Bed Bath & Beyond for around $7.00.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Hibiscus Heartbreak: This color tattoo is from the limited edition Rebel Bloom collection. I am in LOVE with this color. This is a beautiful pale lilac with a golden shimmer. I typically just put this on my eyelids straight without layering anything on top for quick one color look. This isn't the greatest formula. I found that if you try to brush it on with a cream shadow brush, it is patchy, so I pat it on, and it covers well in 2 coats. The formula isn't ideal, but I love the color. I wore this multiple times this week. I paid around $7-$8 at Walgreens.

Lush Karma Komba Solid Shampoo Bar: I mistakenly wandered into Lush this week which is always dangerous. I've used shampoo bars in the past and liked them, but it's been a couple of years. I love the Karma scent, and decided I'd try their shampoo bar version. The purpose of this bar is a to perfume and detangle. It does just that. The scent is a lovely patchouli and citrus scent. This bar really lathers very well and fast in your hair. I'm always surprised how well shampoo bars lather. I just wet it and swipe it across my hair 3-5 times and that's all it takes to bubble up. That being said, this formula I found to be too harsh and stripping on my hair. I have oily hair too, and found this too much. I should of figured that based on the description, but it just smells so good! This might be one I reach for once week when I feel I need a deeper clean, but definitely not a regular shampoo for me sadly. This was $11.95 at Lush.

Happy Sunday!
