Throwback Thursday: China Glaze Life Preserver

I have a great blast from the past fall favorite to share with you today. The strange thing is this color was released in a China Glaze spring collection, not fall. This color is definitely more fall like to me, and it's one I reach for this time of year.

Life Preserver
Life Preserver is a soft and muted burnt orange creme.

Collection: Anchors Away Spring 2011

Color: Am I right? This is more fall than spring? This a lovely soft pumpkin color. This color is saturated, but it has a touch of softness to it that I really love. Orange colors are not typically my favorite, but I adore Life Preserver.

Formula: This is a good 2-3 coat formula. I don't have any noticable formula issues with this one.

Price: A Google search will bring up various options in the $3-$7 range.

Overall: If you're looking for a great soft orange color for fall you can't go wrong with Life Preserver!

My Rating: 5 out of 5 Paint Splatters
Happy Thursday!

  1. That is a pretty fall shade. I would classify this as fall and not spring. I don't know though as it has a certain brightness and crispness that almost says summer to me too. Maybe this is a great transition from late summer into fall polish?
