Way-Cool Mani Wednesday: Sparkling & Soft

One of my favorite nail looks to do are ones that have softer elements, but have something sparkly thrown in the mix. I don't think you'll ever find me with a straight up neutral or nude creme polish without some embellishment. I think the combination keeps the look clean, but far from boring.

Here is a mani I did recently featuring soft and sparkle!

Polishes Used:
Zoya Kennedy and Deborah Lippmann Champagne Supernova (from the Starlight collection)

Manicure Description: I painted all nails with Zoya Kennedy, and followed up doing a glitter gradient on top with Deborah Lippmann Champagne Supernova.

I don't know, but I think this is probably one of my all-time favorite manis I've done. I can't even really explain why really...I just love it!

Happy Wednesday!

  3. What a perfect combo! I just got Zoya Kennedy and Starlight Glitter, so I am definitely trying this out. I'd suggest a polish like butterLondon Tart with a Heart for those who don't have Champagne SUpernova. It would be gorgeous in a mani like this. What do you think of Deborah Lippmann Starlight Glitter set? I am in heaven with it- but I have to topcoat the matte ones to get the effect I like. Which ones are your faves? Hoping to see more of them in upcoming posts.

  7. Thanks. The formula on the Starlight Glitter set kills me. The glitter ones like Champagne Supernova, Cosmic Love, Blinded by the Light, Fantastic voyage I found to be so incredibly clumpy and difficult to work with, especially when doing a mani like this. I love the colors in the set, but I'd expect Deborah Lippmann brand to have better formula. I have $8 glitter bomb indies with significantly better formula than those :-/. I will be doing a review on the entire set in the coming weeks. :)
