Third Week Throwbacks: Milani Dot Com

It's time for another week of throwbacks. This week I wanted to share with you some of my fall favorites that I wear every year. These are staples in my nail polish collection that I will never turn my back on. The funny thing I realized is all the polishes I'm going to show you this week are from 2010. I must say 2010 was a good year for nail polish. Today, I have a oldie but goodie Milani to share with you.

Dot Com
Dot Com is a smokey plum base with intense metallic pinky, golden, copper shimmer/glitter bits.

Collection: Milani Liquid Metals Summer 2010

Color: This is one of those multi-dimensional colors. There is so much going on here that and in a very good way. The base color is a beautiful rich purple and the shimmer/glitter stuff going on here really makes this polish. This is a stunning nail polish and I really haven't seen anything like it since.

Formula: The formula on this is a bit lacking. It is not bad by any means, but it does take 4 coats to build to opacity. The base on this is a bit sheer, and can peak through if you don't have enough coats.

Price: This one, like many drugstore limited edition polishes has bit the dust. Sadly, I haven't been able to find this anywhere.

Overall: This is a beautifully complex polish. I adore it and it still a favorite of mine 5 years later. Like I said before, I haven't see anything like this since. It's unique and it's awesome!

My Rating: 5 out of 5 Paint Splatters
Happy Monday!
