BadAss Polish Copper Waters & Chocolate Covered Cherry

* I received the following products for my honest review by BadAss Polish

I have some new polishes from BadAss Polish to share with you all today. I absolutely loved the first polishes I received from BadAss Polish. If you remember, the color Dusk  made it in my Top 20 of 2012 list last year. These next two colors are stunners also. I think you all will love them!

Copper Waters over Cult Nails Time Traveler
Copper Waters is a mix of blue, copper, and holographic/iridescent glitters in a clear base.

This is brilliant. I'm not 100% sure what the other glitters are in there besides the blue and copper, but I'd be willing to bet it is pixie dust. There is some extra special color-changing flashing amazing glitter added to this that makes this just magically beautiful! Must have. You need this. Yes, I've added this as a contender already to my Top 20 of 2013. I used 2 coats over a base.

Chocolate Covered Cherry over Sally Hansen Cinna-snap
Chocolate Covered Cherry is a mix of deep red, bronze, and pink holo glitters in a clear base.

This is another great color. Chocolate Covered Cherry is rich and luxurious  This definitely falls within the same idea as Dusk (linked above). I'd consider these to be cousins. Chocolate Covered Cherry also has a lot of depth and complexity to it. This isn't a flat boring glitter at all! I used 2 coats over a base.

Colors:  Copper Waters and Chocolate Covered Cherry are both original and beautiful colors. I do not have any polishes even close to these in my collection.

Formula: Top notch. These glide on so smoothly and effortlessly. These can be used on their own in 3-4 coats for full coverage, but I personally find they stand out better against a base. The glitters do try matte, so a top coat is a must!

Overall: Amazing. You all know I love a lot of polish, but I am so impressed by BadAss Polish. I love that  there is an indie creating micro-glitter polishes that are unique, high quality, and beautiful. I can tell a lot of thought and heart were put into these. I think why I love them so much, is because in a nail world of indie glitter bombs this something so refreshingly different. So, so, so , so genuinely impressed everyone. You all need to check out BadAss Polish!

You can purchase BadAss Polish from their website for $8.75 each. Copper Waters is not in stock currently, but should be available Wednesday. Be sure to follow BadAss Polish on Facebook for updates.

BadAss Polish Dusk & Bling

Today, I have for you the remaining BadAss Polishes I received to review.. If you want to check out my review of their Are You Ready For Some Football? polishes you can find that review here. These next two polishes will be part of their core line, and I'm really impressed with them. I'm so glad they will be core too because I'd hate to see these go away!

Dusk over Cult Nails Time Traveler

Dusk is a mixture of small dark blue glitters and gold glitters in a clear base.

If you've been reading this blog for awhile, you will know I have mentioned on multiple occasions that blue and gold is my favorite color combination. Needless to say, I love this. This is an absolutely beautiful glitter. I used 2 coats here over Cult Nails Time Traveler and it is stunning. This could be buildable on its own with 3 coats, but I think a base really allows for the glitter to stand out more. This covered nicely, and applied well.

Bling over Cult Nails Nevermore

Bling is a mixture of a gold and silver glitters in a clear base.

I don't think I've seen a gold and silver mix polish like this. I do not own any. I love this combination, it is definitely blingy. I used 2 coats here over a base. Again, you could use 3 coats on it's own, but I prefer having a base. This covered really nicely too, and applied evenly.

You know what I love about these? They are smaller glitters with amazing coverage. We are used to seeing indies with chunky glitters, and this is something different. These polishes are thoughtful and well planned out. The color combinations are beautiful, and they apply so nicely. I really like these, and I think you all will too.

You can purchase these polishes for $8.50 each on BadAss Polish's Etsy shop.

BadAss Polish- Are You Ready For Some Football Collection

I have some polishes for you today from a new indie brand on the block--BadAss Polish. They have 4 polishes to start out their line. I will be showing you 2 of them today, the other 2 I will show you next week. These first two are part of the Are You Ready For Some Football? collection. Needless to say, these are football themed!

America's Team layered over Milani White on the Spot

America's Team is a mixture of silver glitters and blue stars in a clear base.

This polish is themed after the Dallas Cowboys. This is 2 coats over white, and it is meant to be a layering polish. I like the density of this glitter, and applies nicely. The blue stars do not automatically come out on the brush, you will have to snag one in the bottle. That being said, I did not feel as if I was fishing for the stars at all, once you touch one with your brush  it stays there, and will apply easily to your nail. I love this color combination, and it could be used to layer over various colors easily.

Go Pack Go layered over China Glaze Holly-Day

Go Pack Go is a mixture of small green glitters, gold glitters, and larger yellow hex glitters in a clear base.

This polish is themed after the Green Bay Packers. I did two coats of this over a base. The formula was good and it applied well. I love the combination of colors here. The best surprise in this polish are the teeny tiny little gold glitters mixed in with the green, this is just one of those simple added touches to an indie polish I love! This applied well, and it's great to see a green glitter out there. I do not have many green glitters, so this was a nice addition.

Before I sum things up, I wanted to share with you how these polishes were packaged and sent to me. I am beyond impressed with this packaging!

The polishes came in these awesome tubes. There is no way anything is going to break in there. The inside of the tube holds your polish and a piece of felt. The tube also has information about their packaging and its double purpose. The felt is meant to help you with removal of glitter polish. I personally swear by felt. I prefer it over the foil method, so this was a nice surprise!

I'm impressed with BadAss Polish. The polishes are glittery, and applied nicely. I want to say, please do not let the football theme trip you up. I am not a football fan in the least, and these are great layering glitter top coats for any occasion. I see both of these as suitable for holiday manicures for sure. I am also very impressed with the packaging, it's thoughtful and purposeful.

You can purchase these polishes from BadAss Polish's Etsy shop for $8.50 each.
