Savvy Garland

I cannot believe it's going to be in the 50's for the most the week here. That is crazy cold for Florida! I spotted this Savvy color a few weeks ago, and I've been so excited to share it. I am usually not a green gal, but this green is absolutely stunning!

Garland

Garland is a blackened forest green shimmer.

I adore this color, and that is rare for me to say about a green. In indoor lighting it looks like a rich green creme, but it comes alive in the sunlight. The shimmer in this is beautiful. It's not frosty, it's juts right. I like how there is black in this color too you can see it in the edges. This color is just full of dimension. It's also great for the holidays!

Savvy Magic Pumpkin

Hey everyone! Today is the last full day with my parents. They're leaving tomorrow afternoon :(. I always enjoy their visits. It always feels like I'm on vacation when they're here. We go out to each every meal, do shopping, and do fun activities. It's nice. I live in tourist town, but I don't do the touristy things unless they're here so this has been a nice break from school and life.

Anywho! This is Savvy Magic Pumpkin. This was part of the Femme Couture collection, and this color came with a handful of other sparkly top coats at Sally Beauty.

Magic Pumpkin

This is definitely a color for layering. This is a sheer orange base with iridescent glitter that flashes gold and green. Here I have layered if over NYC Times Square Tangerine (index & ring finger) & WnW Black Creme (middle & pink finger). I love both of these looks. Magic Pumpkin on the NYC orange polish gives it a pretty more feminine sparkly color, while on the black gives it this vampy green shimmery color. I love it over black. I think this would look great for Halloween.

Savvy Purple Potion Skittles

I was at Sally's yesterday and picked up one of the pretties in what I believe was called Femme Couture Shimmers collection. Don't take my word on that though. I just saw that written on the box, so there could be more to that name. They had about every color shimmer under the rainbow. I remember seeing for sure orange, pink, blue, green, white, and purple. I got Purple Potion. These are definitely layering polishes they would be too sheer to wear alone, but they are beautiful!!!

 Purple Potion is a  prominently very fine grape purple micro shimmer with little flecks of gold,pink, blue shimmer with s light golden pink duochrome effect. It really add some great dimension to a polish color. My favorites is how it looks on the lightest purple and the black, but anything in between is great too!


Looking back now I wish I had gotten the other colors. I may go back in get them seeing how diverse the color range is and how beautiful and unique these shimmers are!
