Zoya Happi

Have you guys seen the swatches for upcoming Zoya Fall collection? I love a lot of these. My favorites so far are Anja, Cynthia, Petra, Marina, & Neeka! I'm glad I don't love them all, then my wallet would have a problem. :P

Anywho, I have a Zoya polish for you today. I've said this many times, but Zoya is definitely my favorite brand of polish. I love their color selection. I think they make some of the most amazing shimmers out of any brand. They've perfected the gold shimmer, which automatically makes them an instant favorite in my book. This pink is no exception.

Happi

Happi is a bubblegum pink with intense golden duochrome sihmmer that flashes gold,pink,peach, and green.

Gorgeous! I just got this polish recently, and it's one I definitely am kicking myself not getting sooner. Happi is the perfect name for this. It is a happy color. It reminds me of a friend who has a cute dog named Happi. Isn't that the cutest name for a dog? I can't help but smile when I think of this color.

China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway

I have changed my layout again, but for a good reason. The other layout and the colors was making my eyes go cross. There was way too much contrast. That being said, if it was bothering me, I'm sure it was bothering you all as well. Please please please, don't hesitate to let me know if you have issues reading this blog. I promise I'm not trying to ruin your eyes on purpose. I tried to tone down the colors, lighten up the background, and darken the text. Is this better?

I have completely failed at 4th of July. I had absolutely no time to do a 4th of July manicure. I was busy doing blog sale stuff  on top of other responsibilities. I apologize America, please forgive me. I do have a 4th of July appropriate China Glaze blue for you though. I hope that's good enough. :P

Bermuda Breakaway

Bermuda Breakaway is a indigo creme.

Among all the other colors I love, I have to say up there in my favorites are deep blue and navy cremes. I have quite a few of these colors and I love them all!

I hope you all have a nice 4th of July, those of you who celebrate. 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays especially when I was a kid. I told this same story last year on this blog, but we had these family friends who threw a great 4th of July party. She had these massive bins of toys and party favors, and it was a complete free for all. These were not stinky toys either, this was the good stuff! She also had a great pool, and we got to light sparklers. Good memories :). I'm pretty sure that's the only reason I really loved July 4th so much.

Bottle Spam Saturday: Glitter Bombs Edition

I know every blogger and every nail addict, as their own idea of different finishes of polishes. My idea of glass fleck maybe someone else's idea of a micro shimmer. My idea of micro shimmer maybe someone else's idea of a frost. I think you get what I'm saying? Sometimes it's difficult to decipher exactly what finish a polish is, and even though there are guides out there there can be many blurred lines.

That being said, my idea of glitter bomb is a polish that has compact glitter suspended in a clear base. This glitter polish can be built up to opacity in a reasonable amount of coats usually around 2-4. This is different than the jelly glitters and the glitters you'd use for layering. These are stinkers they hold on for dear life on your nails, and are a royal pain in the butt to remove, but we love them just the same.

Shockingly, I do not have many of these polishes. I actually thought I'd have a lot more. I do know why I don't though. I hardly wear these mainly because of the removal process. I know there is the foil method, but getting the foil and doing all the steps of that is still a pain. Patience is something I don't really have with nail polish. That is why I admire all the nail art folks out there!
